The hand-worked Minerva model wrought iron bed features a simple design, but with meticulously crafted decorative elements. The hand forging technique can be particularly appreciated in the interweaving of the central iron elements on this wrought iron double bed's headboard and footboard, which requires considerable skill.
Each element of this wrought iron bed is hammered, and each joint is obtained through banding or nailing, without the use of welds, which would decrease its value.
